March 25

Today our daughter Haley got an ear infection. I will be honest I was full of anxiety before we had her examined, because of Emily and my last trip to urgent care. Our Doctor knows we are stressed so he gave Haley a full exam and she is healthy otherwise.

Emily is doing well. No hospital or Dr.'s for her today. Tomorrow is another all day Chemo visit to the day hospital.

Updates tomorrow.

I'm so sorry to hear about the ear infection. I know it's extra hard, because of all that's happened with Em, and also because you both instinctively want to nurture Haley yet are scared of getting sick yourselves, because you don't want the virus passed on to Em. Must feel like being torn in two. Hang in there! I wish there were something I could do besides sending you all my best wishes and prayers. I scrolled down and looked at the photo of you guys standing at the door of your house, the day Em came home. What a handsome family. I see a lot of strength, joy, and togetherness in that portrait. I know you will pull through these hard days. All that strength and courage in Em, well, it's in her mommy and daddy too. I believe in all of you, including that butterball Haley. :)

You must have been so anxious through the examination! I'm sorry to hear about Haley's ear infection. I hope she starts to feel better soon.

I got emails from Japan and England asking if they could send cards to you, Emily! You will be getting cards from over seas soon, if you haven't already. :) love and hugs, Jane

We are sorry to hear about Haley's ear infection. What a relief to hear everything else is well with her. May she get well very soon!

I'm writing this on Wednesday, so I know that you're back at the hospital today. We continue to pray, pray, pray.

Emily, you are doing so well! Everyone tells you that you are brave because it's true! Keep that sweet smile going as often as you can, as I know that you always do...you're amazing! We're so proud of you that you're taking such good care of yourself, knowing when you need to rest or when company is too much to handle. You are so sweet to tell your Grannie that she's not company, she's Grannie. How thoughtful of you to let her know that. You are a kind, sweet and loving little girl, with the heart of an angel, a strong angel. May God bless you sweetie! Keep up the good work! We love you so much! You and your family are in our prayers every day, with lots of love sent your way.
All our Love,
Auntie Diana ~^..^~ and Uncle Marty

Hi Chris, Tracy, Emily and Haley,
I know that lots of things have been going on and I've read the blog which helps me to update those who are praying for Emily. They too have the link so they can read, but often when I talk to them via IM, they ask how things are going. Please know that all the teams are still in prayer for you guys and especially during these times. Oh how much we can learn through the faith of a child. We serve an awesome God and even when things happen that we cannot fully understand, know that He is in control. I am excited to bring dinner on Saturday and I hope that it is yummy for everyone. All is going crazy here at work Chris so you have nothing to worry about :) It's the same thing as when you were here...INSANITY! You take the time to be with this precious little princess and her sweet sister Princess Haley :) Take care of the Queen and love her dearly. I know that all of you are having some trying times, but things will not always be this way. Hugs and kisses to everyone...and lots of prayers.

Blessings...
